1. Position Summary Direct support of sales and service for automation/robotic welding business activity in China and other nominated markets. Conducting application development, customer demonstration, performing system commissioning/training, service & spare parts organization and technical support for the automation products with welding technology. 2. Responsibilities Application & Service of Automation/Robotic welding in China. Comply with all policies and procedures implemented by the Company to satisfy legislative requirements, particularly EH&S, Financial and Employment legislation. 3. Key Accountabilities KEY RESULT AREA 1Welding application & automation products service and training 2 Performing DemonstrationsSuccess of demonstrations 3 General and welding technical supportAssignment 4 Project and job management for the service 5 General technical & engineering support 6 Customer training and support 7To work in a safe manner and to proactively promote safety at work and in the usage and applications of the products that we sell. OBJECTIVE MEASUREMENT CRITERIA Successful development of applications as measured by sales conversion rate and suitability to customer requirements. Success of demonstrations Assignment Projects / job assignments completed on time on budget with service. Assignments complete to nominated requirements Customer feedback and perception. Lack of personal injury, attendance and participation at safety meetings and safety training. Pro-active participation in safety inspections, risk assessments and in the safe working of our department. Promotion of safe use and working of products to our customers. Customer sign-off and final payment received Quality and relevance of training provided as measured by customer satisfaction. (shared task with other staff as allocated) 4. Knowledge & Skills ; Formal qualifications: Welding qualification or equivalent.
